DEPARTMENTAL GRANTS. SHELTER SHED FOR MOUXT EDEN. Professor A. P. W. Thomas, presided over a meeting of the Auckland Grammar School Board of Governors, yesterday afternoon. For a shelter shed and a bicvele shed for the Mountain Road school/the Education Board authorised a grant of £1000. -A sum of £300 wjis authorised for the inclusion of a verandah to the Mount Eden Hostel. The Department wrote authorising the hoard to accept the lowest tende°r of fllb'O for addiions to the Epsom Girls' School.
