The Hawke's Kay provincial tennis championship tournament commenced at Dannevirke to-day in perfect weather on twelve splendid courts. This is the first occasion for fourteen or fifteen years a champion-s-hip tournament lias been hehl at Dannevirke. uver 100 players are participating. nnd the tournament will run into n»xt week.
