THE ANNIVERSARY REGATTA.

■ t ■ A BIG DAY ON THE HARBOUR. ENTRIES AXD HANDICAPS. The Auckland Anniversary Regatta, which was inaugurated in ISoO and has heen held continuously since with only one exception, will to-morrow mark the anniversary of the foundation of the colony. A strong committee has been working for some weeks and all arrangements have been made for the prompt and efficient carrying out of Auckland's time-honoured function. The lirst race will start at 0.4.5 a.m. and events will follow at intervals o<! lo minutes until 4.13 p.m. The s.s. Peregrine will leave the ferries at 1.31) p.m. and convey visitors round the harbour. The fine schooner yacht Kaimiloa jwill act as official flagship and all events will start and finish off this vessel. There is every promise of exceptionally fine weather for to-morrow's regatta.
