RUMANIAN ROYALTY.
KING AND QUEEN lIX. PRINCE CAROL SCANDAL. BUCHAREST,, January 22. King Ferdinand and. Queen Marie of Rumania are both ill as a result of the crisis brought about by the renunciation by Prince Charles of his right of succession to the throne. Their Majesties have gone to their castle at Sboristea. Queen Marie -is suffering from nervous prostration. Prince Charles' first wife, Zizi Lambrino, has been refused a passport to leave Eumania. It is believed that she wishes to visit Charles to consult him about the future of their son.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
