Clocks from Germanj and Jewellery from all parts of Britain have been Bold as Bathmade articles, according tp the prosecution in a fraud charge at Bath. Three jewellers—"Wilfred. Bravington, ajias Abram Cohen, Jpseph Buxton, ana Louis charged with cpnspir--ing to obtain money from people by fajse presences, Jlr. E, H. C. Wetherhed, prosecuting, said the accpsed men had taken over tne old Bath firm of Horstmann and Sons, ana represented that they were offering to the public at bargain .prices, diamonds ana other jewels which Horstmaon's had bought from a titled woman..-.. \\ Horstmann , c had bought no diamonds from a titled woman, said._Mr'.. Wetherhed, On another occasion, lie added, #icy advertised that Horstmann's -were selling off stock at a reduction of 7/6 m the £. Watches from Manchester #ere taken to pjeees, continued Mr. Wetherhed, and tne dials marked "Horstmann and Sons. , ' Cases of cutlery were similarly marked.
