Complainant told the Court that she was working nt an hostelry at Devonport. She had been married 13 years, nnd there were two children. These, however, were boarded out nnd the husband paid for their keep. Two and a half years ago they separated because there was not sufficient in the home. The husband persistently molested his wife. i Proceedings were taken in October hist, and the defendant promised then to leave his wife alone, but he had not done so. "lie is jeopardising srr position with my employers." said complainant. Mr. Knnor. for defendant, said that the husband whs ford of bis wife, but he !alleged that there .was another man in the case.
