NEW MIRAMAR COURTS. THE FIRST srXTEEX. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Thursday. Tho "Wellington Lawn Tennis Association'■; now courts at .Miramar were opened to-day liy the Mayor. Sixteen courts have been laid down out of 73 planned. Speaking at the oeremoiry, Mr. Peacock said the association was t j le large<c sports organisation in Wellington, lui\iiilt about litlOt) players. The courts would be available tree for young players, and it was hoped that eventually the New Zealand championship would be played there.
