But he has certainly written nothing mere thrilling than "The ICnightubridge Mystery," that commences in the "Star" Next Saturday, the 23rd. The interest starts with the first few sentences describing the discovery of the murder of Miss Poppy Wilton in her flat. From then to the final denouement the serial never flags. Everyone should read this, the greatest of Carlton Dawe's novels, "The Knightsbridge, Mystery," TO-MORROW. PAGE 29.

What Is filled the world's finest pearl, a lustrous, gem nearly three-quarters of an inch in diameter and weighing almost 30 i-arat.-s, lias been found off one of the Garabier Islands, in the South Pacific Ocean, by an eighteen-year-old native boy diver, says "Popular Mechanics." He parted with it foe a small fortune, and the buyer is said to have ljeen offered 50.000 dollars for the treasure. It is not an uncommon occurrence for the fishermen to go out in their little canoes in the morning and return in the evening rich, according to their standards. The find of the young boy, however, is said to be the largest in'the records of the region.
