POINT CHEVALIER SAILING CLUB. ANNUAL SBGATTA. The Point Chevalier Sailing Club will hnld their annual regatta on January 24. This was originally fixed for Saturday. December 12, but the hard westerly gale on that (late prevented it being held. -Vll races will start and finish between the club house and buoy moored west. The five-disc system of starting will be used. The officials arc as follow : Starter, Mr. F. Dyson; jurtjee, Mr. It. Spper; timekeepers, Messrs. W. Oliver and T. Courtenny. The following nre the entries and linn' rllcaps: Classes H, L and N, to start at 2 p.m. : course, from starting line roiinil mark off Walker's Bench, thence round triangle 'benenn in Wlinu Channel, thence round cage beacon in Whau channel, thence round buoy west of Point Chevalier point and back to starting line, twice round, keeping all marks on starboard hand. The two intermediate beacons in Wnau channel are not fairway marks. Class S. —To start at 2.10 p.m. Course same as first race : Lancia scr., Atangatai 3m, Sev Sleigh 4m, Solace Sm, Almira Dm, Swiftsure 10m, Verona llm, Miro 14m, Alice 20m.

Class T.—To start at 2.24 p.m. Course same as first race : Queen March scr.,. Kismet lm, Meteor 4m, Mizpah 4m, Tamure Sm, Split Wave Mm, Tui 10m, Ivy 10m.
