TE AWAMUtU, Thursday. Despite the very dry spell which has been passed through some dairy farmers in this district are receiving substantial cheques. For butter the New Zealand Co-opera-tive Daily Co., Ltd., has paid 1/2$ per lb for first-grade, Te. Awamutu Cooperative Dairy Co., Ltd., 1/3J for firstgrade, and in addition has placed a further halfpenny to the capitalisation account; and Waikato Valley Dairy Co., Ltd"., lias paid i/3 per lb for first-grade. For cheese the New Zealand Co-opera-tive Dairy Co. is advancing 1/5 and Kakapukil Co-operatiVe Dairy Co., 1/6. idMoN MARKETS.
