HUNGARIAN SCANDAL.
BANK NOTE FORGERIES. UPROAR IN PARLIAMENT. (Received 2.30 p.m.) BUDAPEST, January 20. "There is going to be a great conirontation,' , promised the Premier (Count Bethlen) in a speech in the Assembly during the debate on the bank note scandal. The Assembly was packed-with deputies! and the public, and the proceedings were most animated. Much of Count Bethlen's speech was inaudible above the din of members on the left- shouting loudly in chorus, "Resign!" while Government supporters made counter demonstrations, standing and cheering the Premier. The latter emphasised the fact that tjie Government was not evading its responsibility, but the duty of ascertaining the facts was the business of the 'Courts rather than of the Government, though the latter wished to clear tip a political background if such existed. ' Count Bethlen repeated that there is not a trace of any revolutionary schemes. (A. and X.Z. Cable.)
