ANNIVERSARY REGATTA.
YACHT AND LAUNCH ENTIUEg ALL-ROUND INCREASE. Entries for all events at the Anniv sary Day rejratta were received yestft" day at the Navy League rooms Z show an all-round increase. I n i? 18-foot V class no less than 18 J. 7 have entered. There are good entri in all the small classes of sailing event' and four prizes will be given according to the regatta rules. For the fi rst c-lass yachts there are 6ix entries, and the other classes are better. I n ' launch events the entries are also g oo j especially the two speed races, ten boats having entered for each race including two from Wanganui. Several post entries are expected from boats out of port on entry night and the visitors' ' launch race, for which entries do not close until regatta morning.
