• MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Nonpareil.—The manager reports operations have been continued on the Moanataiari cross lode, where some good crushing dirt has been obtained. No work has been done on the Shamrock reef owing to preparations being made for the installation of an electric pump. This should be in working order by Tuesday, and it is intended to continue working where good colours of gold were shown in the winze. Lucky Shot.—The manager reports that the drive on the course of the Evening Star leader has been advanced lift, making a total distance of 50ft. The reef Is a strons body of quartz 2i't in width, running in a north-westerly direction, carrying a good class of minerals, and should mase gold when driven on. Zeeaan Consolidated.-Tae- manager r enort- that work resumed on the otn instant i cew rook-drillin- contract has ieen 'let Rising, stopiag and driving on the reef in No. -3 level north are in progress. Everything is in fir«t-class order, machinery working smoothly and well at half tie cost of fuel.
