I MILLIONAIRE BARRED. (From Our Special Correspondent.) SAN" FRAXCISCO, December 23. Rockwell Sayre, the retired Chicago millionaire, who is devoting the remain- 1 iog years of his life to a campaign for i the extermination of cats, was promised ■ a warm reception should he attempt to get into the Mid-Western Persian Cat Show at the Coliseum, in Chicago. Mr. Sayre pays 10 cents —fivepence — apiece for dead cats because he believes j they are killing off the songbirds. Many j of the cats at the cat show were valued 10 three figures, and the management felt that to permit Mr. Sayre into such a gathering of feline aristocrats would be a real mistake. "I had a policeman escort him out last year." said Mrs Elizabeth L. I Roland, secretary of the Chicago fersian Club. "This year we have a man °n the door watching out for him."
