The duties of Chief Librarian may be held to embrace general organisation and supervision of the Library, the selection of books to be added to the Library, and an acquaintance with the keeping of simple accounts and with official correspondence. Applicants should supply three copies of testimonials. The commencing salary will be £500 per annum, advancing by annual increments of £25 until the maximum of £600 be reached. E. W.
