—• MOTOR CAR'S SOMERSAULT. OCCUPANTS' LUCKY ESCAPE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.! TAUMAEUNUI, Tuesday. A motor car containing rive people went over a steep bank and fell nearly 60ft at Te Koura. near Ongarue, at 4.30 this afternoon. The occupants, a man named Long-den. Mrs. Longden. their two children, and Mrs. T. Drake, had a miraculous escape from death. Mrs. Longden suffered injuries to her leg. necessitating her removal to the Taumarunni Hospital, but otherwise she was not seriously hurt. The other occupants escaped with bruises, minor cuts, and severe shaking. The car, which somersaulted two or three times, was badly damaged.
