CARRY - YOUR LICENSE.
• I Motorists should bear in mind that they are required by law to always carry their license with them. A number of cases came before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., this morning at the Magistrate's Court. Mr. Lowrie appeared for the Takapuna Council. Tbe traffic inspector, Mr. C. J. Wheeler, stated that he had stopped 6b motor vehicles, and those summoned had failed to produce their licenses. Mr. Hunt inflicted a fine of 10/ and costs in tbe followin? cases:—H. Cooper, John '1 Wright. S. Wallis. R. W. Davidson. F. W. h Bowring, S. P,aebone. J. • AY. Davidson,' |( J.- F. Hardie, E. 'E. A man. named E. Lees, appeared before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court to-day charged with allowing"-'cattle to stray in- the Borough vof Takapuna. Mr! Lowrie, who represented the Takapuna Borough Council, said the wandering cattle were a nuisance in the district. One resident had . written stating he, would have to sell out unless the stray, cattle nuisance was abated. , A fine of 40/ and costs was imposed.
