Young, who left Dunedin over' two years ago to join the staff of Malayan Tin Dredging, Ltd., a large English company dredging for. tin at Batu Gajah, Federated Malay States, Tvrites to the local agent of the company, that six dredges of the company are being installed with electricity, and that thp company is completing a power house. There are three large water tube boilers, and two brush Sundstrum generators. Tho company is also boring further ground for tin. The tin industry in Federated Malay Stales, he say, is going ahead by leaps and bounds. Suction cutter dredges are not in it with bucket dredges.
