Captain Hugh Hollis, late marine superintendent in Sydney for the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, has arrived in Wellington from Sydney _*0 I take up liis new appointment as marine j superintendent in Now Zealand for that line, to lill the vacancy occasioned by the recent death of Captain A. West. Captain Hollis is no stranger to Wellington, having been master of several of the Tyser steamers which traded regularly to thaiport. His last command was the Makarini, which was sunk during the Greac War.
