MASTER BUILDERS.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS,

At the annual meeting of the Auckland Master Builders' Association this week Mr. J. H. Hutchison was elected president for the ensuing year, with Messrs. V. A. Coyle and E. A. Cornish, vice-presidents; Mr. N. Cole, treasurer; Mr. C. Blomfield, auditor; Messrs. W. J. Fletcher, G. G. Pollard, F. J. Fawcett, C. A. Lee, J. Milne, L. G. Watson, C. W. Bavenhall, 0. E. Bartleet, and h. J. Morris were elected as a committee. The reports showed that the association continues to exercise important fim?jons in the building trade, and ir. settling differences of opinion between builders, architects and owners. There ate 180 members on the roll, and the financial position was reported to be very satisfactory. Messrs. J. H. Hutchison, C. A. Lee and G. G. Pollard were appointed delegates to the conference of the federation in-Dunedin in: February next.
