A STATUE OF DON QUIXOTE. SANCHO PANZA AT TOLEDO. LONDON. December 0. The Madrid correspondent of the '"Morninjr I'ost" states (hat the Cer- , vantes Committee at Toledo lias elaborated a scheme to commemorate Don Quixote and Saneho Panza by a statue of the knight mounted on bis horse Rosinante. 170 ft high, and one of Saneho on font. The figure of the latter will be 05ft high. The grciro of statuary will take seven years to build* and will cost over £1,000.000. The committee expects Americans to subscribe. When the uork is completed a railway will be run to Ftosinante's hoofs to facilitate the conveyance of the millions of pilgrims who are expected to come, to see the most remarkable memorial in the world.---(A. and X.Z.
