Bocithby (Conservative member for Aberdeenshire) asked whether it was possible to summon the Imperial Economic Conference with a view to discussing the development of Empire trade. Mr. Baldwin pointed out that the Imperial Economic Committee, appointed at the' beginning of 1925, included the representatives of the Dominions, India and the Crown colonies. Mr. Garro-Jones asked whether, in View of the fact thta nearly nine weeks had elapsed-since initialling the Locarno Tfeatifes, Mr. Amery had received a.definite adSwer enabling hint to amplify His reply relative to the Dominions' ratification, Mr. W. Q. Qrffisby-Gdfe said communications were Still passing, and it would be premature to make a state(Heutor.)
