SANDERS CUP TRIALS.
FIRST RACE IN WELLINGTON. PEGGY AND HER MAST. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The first Wellington Sanders Cup trial race was sailed yesterday in a fresh and fluky northerly. All Black.and Wellesley were the official starters, while Peggy started unofficially, as her mast had' not been shifted forward, as requested by the committee. Peggy ' won by a minute, but the race was . awarded to the All Black, which was followed 'by the Wellesley, 56 seconds behind.
