TE this day.Word was received hy the police yesterday of the death in a hut at-Whare-puhunsa of a rabbiter named McFarlahe, aged between 40 and 45 years.- The place is in the back country, 30 miles from here, a very lonely spot. A letter written by deceased indicated / his intention to end his life. The body was brought to the road over a rough track by sledge with difficulty. An inquest is to be held at Kihi Kihu 1 ; Little is known about deceased. It is : .believed that he has a brother residing in Dunedin. ,—
