LIBERALISM OR POLITICAL TRADES UNIONISM.
'To the Editor. , ) Sir —Mr- John A, Beems *° sidetrack' the issues with unpardonable per«mial charges of indiscretion and irreleScy against mc. Will Mr. Lee, M.P., onjwer the questions we set out to aAe, v iz., Has Liberalism by experience, political accomplishments and political principles not a better right to jiafl New Zealand than his party? I have based my challenge to Mr. Lee op ! the ground floor of the difference ibetween Liberalism or Political Trades Unionism. The fundamental principles of difference form the case for or against tha acceptance by the progressive forces tit one side or the other. If Mr. Lee, JI.P., will firstly enter the lists on my ehillenge I will follow on and meet Hum en' Ms. Now, Mr. Lee, away with your pyrotechnicg and do not charge- mc, please, with your own controversial I offences. I would point out that Mr. Jiej was himself elected on a minority ivote, and to compare City East with Boskill is absurd. What vote would Mi Lee have got in Roskill?—l am, etc., A. HALL SKELTON.
