WELLINGTON WAR MEMORIAL.
CARILLON SCHEME DROPPED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.; WELLINGTON, Tuesday. A meeting of the Citizens' War Memorial Committee to-night decided to call throughout the Dominion and Australia for competitive designs. Although there is an agitation for a carillon the committee has decided to carry out the original idea to erect a symbolical memorial outside Parliamentary grounds.
