» PICNIC AND SPORTS. On Saturday nfternoon the Technical College I'ust ritudenis,' Association held their first uucual picnic, at Islington Bay. Over 150 [>«=« students and their irlends attended. Tne weather during the afternoon stayed flue and the party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The results were:—loo Yards (Men): R. Porteous 1, T. Studd 12. 75 Yards (Ladies) : Miss P. Smith 1, Miss I. Perkinson 2. 200 Yards Reluy (Men) : K. Porteous find T, Scudd I; S. Williams mid A. Moller 2. Swimming Kate (Uirls) : Miss K. Wood 1, Miss M., stunex \i. Swimming Raw (Boys) : H. Cooper 1, S. Williams 2. Three Legged Race (Girls) : Misses K. Smith and I. Perklnson 1. Misses A. and I. I I die 2. Wheelbarrow Race : H. Cooper and h. Roust? 1, J. McKane and A. Motler 2. Tnread tin; Needle: Miss M. Stonexl, Miss 0. Stoncx 2. Before embarking nn the return trip, the president, Mr. Trendall, presented the sports prizes.
