FASCISTS AND FREEMASONS.
MUSSOLINI'S DECISION. (Received 12.30 p.m.) ROME, November 26. The Fascist executive has decided that the measures suggested by the Grand Master of Italian Freemasons' will not do. A communique says Freemasons will not be permitted to continue on traditional lines under the cloak of organisations ostensibly conforming to new laws.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.) The Grand Master of Italian Freemasons ordered the dissolution of Masonic lodges in Italy in accordance with Signor Mussolini's decree. He said the Grand Orient would continue and new lodges be created to conform with the requirements of the new law regulating associations.
