Under the "Domain Board Amendment Act, 1008,"' county oouneils are authorised to donate portion of their funds towards the management and maintenance of domain boards, but the charge is one on the general account. The Waitemata County Council applied for legislation authorising such charges to he against the separate riding account, as a difference of opinion between councillor? prevented donations being made from the whole county fund. The council have now received * advice that effect lias been given to their representation, by section 7 of "The Public, Reserves and Domain Boards Amendment Act, 1925."
