PRIMARY SCHOOLS' CONCERT.
I ■ ■ ( A deserved success attended the un'ted efforts of the Auckland Primary Schools !in the Town Hall last evening:. In point lof variety the concert was an ambitious effort. It consisted oT choral music, solos, instrumental items, rolk dances, elocution, one act plays, exhibitions or physical prowess by drill squads, and an -ample • supply or humour. The hall was well filled and the result of the concert should be a substantial addition to the Tunds of the Auckland Primary School Committees' Association. The programme was as follows: Song, "Oh, Blessed Niym," by Normal School choir; Highland Fling:, by Masters R. Argus and; J." Munro (of Ponsonby school); songs, by primer girls and boy 3 of Beresford Street school; song-, "Adelai" by Master Eric Dwight (Napier street school; Swedish drill display by a squad - or- junior girls from Vauxnall scnoal; I songs, "John Peel," and "The Golden i Vanity," by the boys' choir of Newton West school; Irish Reel, by Nellie Herbert (brey Lynn school); song, "The-Canadian ?^T.^ ong '.U5 y Leslle Orphanage choir; recitation, "Tne Grand Christmas Party" S?m Dal i?J Ke Y ,< Ponson »y school); musical ?ri f irls squaa rrom Newton cen- = on jrs, "Sweet ana Low," and m^Li Son^-, h y Bayfleld school choir'; 1 ■■ ■■■ ■•■■■.■ ,
