RICCARTON TRAINING NOTES. {Bj Telegraph.—Press Association.* i CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The weather was squally for training at Riccarton this morning, a southerly wind bringing a sharp shower of rain. It was an off morning, and not many horses went fast. Most of the work was done on the plough. Haze beat Nincompoop over three furlongs in 37 2-ss. Kilfaire and Kaiti went a.mile in 1.46 2-5. Deucalion did a working gallop on No. 7 track, taking 1.20 2-5. March Past ran half a mile in 51 l-ss, Fool's Paradise taking 51 3-ss. Kalakaua and Zouave went seven furlongs in 1.33. Clarelna ran three furlongs on No. 7 track in 395. ■Merry Singer, Sir Fanciful, and Red Head went a mile in 1.51. .Kukume and Waetea went a mile and a quarter ln 2.15 3-5. Rivalry and Serotina ran half a mile in 50 2-ss, Commendation taking 50s, going practically from a 6tand. Kllmiss did a working gallop over six furlongs, the last three taking 41s. Polyphemus went three furlongs in 37 3-ss. Adjutor, which fell the previous day, was taken to the same hurdle and jumped twice well. Lucius, Sir Fanciful, Bonecto, First Acre, La Reve, Degage, Grand Knight, Quest, Piquant, Nadarlno, Waetea, Indian Sage, Note, Axle, Minotus, Kiloperon, Orchid, Eonmark, Red nead, Megalo, and Polyphemus arrived from the north yesterday, while Volant and Coch-y-Bondhu arrived from the south last night.
