SARRAIL'S INDISCRETIONS.
TURKS MARCH ACROSS SYRIA. LONDON, November 2. The -Daily Express" says it understands that he indiscretions of General Sarrail, the French commander in Syria, have not been limited to Damascus." The paper asserts that information reached the British Foreign Ollice last week to the effect that Turks were given permission to transport 5000 troops across Syria to the Iraq border. Britain immediately protested to France, but it is by no means clear that France has any alternative. There is a strong reluctance on the part of France to do anything inimical to her relations with Turkey (A and X.Z. Cable.)
