Painlcve has completed the formation of his new Cabinet, and has allotted the principal portfolios as follows: Premier and Treasury—M. Painleve. Budget—M. Bonnet. Foreign Affairs—M. Briand. Justice—M. Chautemps. Interior—M. Schrameck. War—M. D'Aladicr. Marine—M. Borel. Agriculture—M. Durand. Colonies—M. Leon Perrier. Public Works—M. De Monzie. Education—M. Yvon Delbos. Pensions—M. Anteriou. Labour—M. Durafour. Commerce—M. Daniel Vincent. Liberated Regions—M. Schmidt. Housing—M. Le Vasseur. M. Painleve, as Minister of the Treasury, will. deal with Treasury questions regarding the movement of funds, the direction of public accounts, negotiations with the banks and dealings with exchange questions. M. Bonnet, Minister of the Budget, whose functions will shortly be denned by special decree, will control the administration of the . finances of State monopolies, and will nrepare the Budget. Neutral opinion in Paris and in' London inclines to the belief that the existence of the new French Cabinet will be comparatively brief. I The Paris correspondent of the "Financial Times" says tiie. Cabinet has begun I the consideration of the policy to be [ presented to Parliament next week.
