PERTH; this day. The House of Assembly carried a motion that the Parliamentary salary of £400 is inadequate, and should be raised immediately. A division wag taken on non-party lines-—(A. and N\Z. Cable.) ADELAIDE, this day. In the Assembly, Mr. Harvey (Labour member) moved that the fixation of salaries of members of Parliament be referred to the President of the Arbitration Court. The Country party supported the motion, but it is being strongly opposed by the Liberals.— (A. and N-Z.)
