FAREWELLED BY BAR.
1 , (From Our Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, Thursday. Mr. H. Aitken Young, S.M., presided at the Cambridge Magistrate's Court to-day for the last time prior to departing to Christchurch, where he will exchange positions with Mr. Wyvern Wilson. ' Prior to the ■ commencement of the usual business of the Court, Mr. S. Lewis, senior member of the local Bar, which was fully represented, expressed deep regret at. Mr. Young's removal to Christchurch. The speaker voiced the members', thanks for the cordial manner, the great patience and the courtesy his Worship had at all his six year's term as magistrate at Cambridge —extended to local members of the Bar. On behalf of the Bar, Mr. Lewis wished his Worship, his wife and family, health, happiness and prosperity in their new home. Constable Cleary, on behalf of local police, voiced similar sentiments. His Worship feelingly responded.
