PLUNKET SHIELD DATES.
(By Telegraph.—Special to "Star."* DUNEDIN. this day. At a meeting of the Otago Cricket Association, it was decided to accept Christmas Day and the following days as dates for the Piunket Shield match between Otago and Canterbury at ■ Christchurch. The Auckland Association is to be asked to agree to the New Year dates for the match against Otago at Auckland. January 29 and 30. and February 1. are suggested as tentative dates for the match, Wellington v. Otago, at Dunedin. Canterbury will be asked to send a team fo Dunedin at a date to be fixed later.
