NO DOMINIONS BARRED. STATEMENT FROM TREASURY. EMBARGO ON FOREIGNERS. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 12 noon.) LONDON, October 16. The Treasury states that there is no question of embargo so far as Australian loans are concerned. The Australian Loan Council still stand. Dominion Agents-General are sending a deputation to Mr. L. C. M. S. Amery to urge the Imperial Government to exert pressure on the Bank of England to speed up Dominion loans, especially State loans. They will point out the effect of delay on Empire trade development, also British employment, because hitherto many millions borrowed have been spent on British goods.— C'Sun.") AGENTS-GENERAL MEET.
