STRONG MAN'S DEATH. FATAL WEIGHT-LIFTING. LONDON, October 13. . The death of Eugen Sandow was due to a broken blood vessel in the brain. This ■wa3 the result of a strain caused by deceased lifting his motor car singlehanded from a ditch after an accident. This incident occurred a few years ago. (A. and NZ. and "Sun.") NEW STATE STEAMER. WEST AUSTRALIAN ORDER. LONDON, October 15. Messrs. Harland and Wolff, Limited, have received an order from the Government of West Australia to construct a twin-screw passenger and cargo motor vessel of the latest type for the West Australian coastal trade.— (Reuter.)
