SULPHUR INSULATION.
FOR CURE OF DISEASE. vßj- Telegraph.— Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. At a recent meeting of the South Otago Hospital Board Mr. John Mosley, of j Inchclutha, submitted a statement in i connection with, his discovery of a simple cure for cancer, tuberculosis, goitre and rheumatism by means of the "sulphur insulation" method. In his statement Mr. Mosley said he had examined 300 houses between Riverton and Christchurch where cases of cancer had been suspected or had occurred. In every instance the sufferers had been living and sleeping over underground water, and when they had been removed from that baneful influence, oc had adopted the "sulphur isulation" method, they had recovered from the disease, provided always that it had not reached too advanced a stage. The chairman, the Hon. A. S. Malcolm, who introduced the matter at the board meeting yesterday, moved "that the board distribute copies of Mr. Mosley's report to each hospital board in New Zealand." In supporting his motion Mr. Malcom said that for a number of years Mr. Mosley had devoted j his spare time to the study of these disi eases. He was a highly respected gentleman, and moreover, had nothing to gain as result of the distribution of copies of his report. This report embodied the conclusions of Mr. Mosley's investigations and the board should distribute I copies as widely as possible. Under the j circumstances Mr. Malcolm contended that the board should set up a committee to investigate and substantiate what Mr. Mosley had claimed. J Several members rose to second the j motion. Mr. Pearson was of opinion that the medical profession was rather slow in not investigating the matter more fully, j Mr. J. Mosley said that his brother I had recently received a copy of the j Southland News in which a letter had J been published testifying to the efficacy of the sulphur treatment. The chair, man remarked that it was quite evident i when so many members rose to second the motion that the board was in accord ; with the idea. The motion was carried : unanimously and a committee was an pointed to supply information whenever necessary.
