METHODIST CHURCH.

AUCKLAND WEST CIRCUIT. The quarterly meeting of the above circuit was held on Monday evening in the St. John's vestry, when Rev. C. 11. Olds. 8.A.. presided over an attendance of 24 delegates. The membership returns, in both the senior and junior departments, were very satisfactory. The finances of the circuit also showed considerable improvement, the slight dpbit balance outstanding at the end of the previous quarter having been converted into an appreciable credit balance. Unanimous invitations were extended to the Revs. C. H. Olds. 8.A.. and .1. Olphert to continue in the circuit for another year. Messrs. P. Hardley, J. Reed and AY. Thompson were appointed Synod representatives. with Misses Thompson and Gibson as substitutes.
