MR. CLINKARDS CAMPAIGN. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.) PUTARURU, this day. Mr. C. H. Clinkard, Nationalist candidate for Rotorua, has concluded a tour of Mokai and Ongaroto districts. Despite deplorable weather and almost impassable roads the candidate reports fair audiences, and expresses himself as well satisfied with his receptions in this area. At Mokai a vote of confidence was given. Mr. Clinkard said he estimated his chances as distinctly more favourable than at the last election, and confidently predicts a larger poll.
