RIOTS'IN PANAMA.
TROOPS AND DEMONSTRATORS FATALITY AND ARRESTS. (Received 10.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, October 13. Three battalions of United States troops .occupy Panama city, where a strike of chauffeurs and motormen has paralysed the transport. The strike was accompanied hy rioters' demonstrations. One demonstrator was killed in conflict with the police. Twentyeight rioters were arrested and five foreigners deported.—(A. and N.Z.)
