VERY INTERESTED and CANADIAN, The suburbs and districts that make up Auckland's population of 172,9:55 are: Auckland City, Birkenhead, Northcote. Takapuna, Devonport, Avondale. Newmarket. Mount Eden, Mount Albert, Onehunga, Otahuhu, New Lynn and Ellerslie, with the remainder of the urban area, including portions of Henderson and Glen Eden Town Districts. The total for Wellington of 114.510. is made up of the populations of Wellington City, Lower Hutt, Petone, Eastbourne, Johnsonville, and the remainder of the urban area, which includes 2585 people. Christchurch takes in Riccarton, New Brighton, Sumner, Lyttelton, and nn urban area of 18,333. Christchurch is larger than Wellington by a thousand. Official figures concerning the recent yearly increase will not be available till the 192G census. The figures for Vancouver agree to a unit with those quoted in a Vancouver newspaper only a few weeks ago. Tha figures for Winnipeg were taken from the latest official compilation. Trada estimates give the population of Greater Vancouver as 200,000.
