THE AUCKLAND SEASON. TO OPEN ON NOVEMBER 7. At a meeting of the Auckland Cricket Association Executive last night, Mr. D. V. Moore presiding, reports were received on the condition of the various cricket grounds, including the pitches at Victoria Park and on tbe Domain. After discussion on the subject, it was decided that the club season should be opened on Saturday, November 7, and that entries for all grades should close on Friday, October 30. The Hobsonville Club submitted a nomination for a third grade team.
