OTAHUHU POLICE COURT.
A sitting of the Otahuhu Police Court wns held yesterday, Messrs. Singley and Scown. J.P.s, being on the bench, in the absence of Mr. W. K. McKecn, S.M., who is indisposed.
For being in the possession of a firearm Ernest Andrews, under the age of 16, was convicted and fined.
W. J. Rogers, A. Pitcher, S. Bennett, Tames McGee, G. Mitchell, S. Thomas were convicted and fined 10/ and costs 17/6 each for allowing their cattle to wander on the roads. A similar charge against A, Lowe was dismissed.
Three young men, W. Raesthorne, Georce Latta and W. Arthur, for riding bicycles without lights and in a manner dangerous to the public, were fined 10/ and costs 7/. For driving a motor car without a license Edith Wilson was convicted and fined 11. James Lynch, Russell Howe and Victor Trewin were convicted for failing to register for military servieo, the two former being fined 7/ each, and the latter fined £2 and costs 7/. For riding motor bic.vclee In a manner dangerous to the public safety, Cyril Walker and Maurice Godfrey were each fined 10/ and costs 7/. On a similar charge, and for not allowing another vehicle to pass on the off side, Charles Goodwill was ordered to come before the magistrate.
Charged -n-lth selling ammunition to a person under the age of Iβ years, and for selling the same without a dealer's license, Albert Meadows was found not guilty.
