AND THE ROTORUA SEAT. WHAKATANE, Monday. A meeting of the faneatua branch of the Farmers' Union passed a resolution strongly deprecating the action of the Country party in nominating a candidate for Rotorua electorate °in opposition to the present member, Mr. F. ,F. Hockly, and respectfully requesting Capt. Colbeck to withdraw from the contest.
