M. LEON BOURGEOIS. PARTS. September 30. The death is announced of M. Leon Bourgeois, at the age of 74. — (Reuter.) Maitre Leon Bourgeois, the French statesman, was by profession an advocate. He was notable for his analytical perceptim and his calm argument. indnc : ng settlement of causes by conciliatory means. His nolitical beginning was extremely auspicious. His notable services at The Hague made him the best possible person to lead tbe French committee in" the League of Nations. His hobby was" his home, his flowers, his books—and his memories.
