The New Zealand" Meat Producers' Board has received the following cable from its London omce, dated September 11, 1925, advising Smlthfleld delivered prices at that date as follows:— New Zealand Wethers and Maidens.— Canterbury quality, selected brands, 56's and under 7_ per lb, 57's to 64's 7id, 65's to 72's 7id; other brands, 56's and under 7fd, 57'S to 64's 7gd, 65's to 72's 7Jd. New Zealand Ewes. —64's and under, 6d. New Zealand Lamb. —Canterbury quality, 36's and under 12d, 37's to 42's 10id, 43's to 50's lOd, seconds Hid; selected brands, 36's and under 12d, 37's to 42's 10id; other brands, first quality, 42's and under lid, seconds Ilgd. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house dated nth inst..-— 5400 bales, including 1460 Puntas were offered and 4500 bales were sold. As compared with last sales crossbred nne combing skins 7J per cent lower. Crossbred coarse and medium combing skins 5 per cent lower, crossbred clothing skins par to 5 per cent higher. The following is a list of quotations: Merino, three-quarter to rull woolled, Isd to I7jd; Merino quarter to half woolled, lOd to 14} d; short and shorn, 8d to lOd; crossbred, three-quarter to full woolled, nne, 13d to 17d; crossbred, three-quarter to rull woolled, medium and coarse, lid to 15d; crossbred, quarter to hair woolled, One, 12d to I6d; crossbred, quarter to half woolled, medium and coarse, 9id to 14$ d; crossbred, short and shorn, 9d to 13d; lambs, I2d to 16id.
MELBOURNE WOOL SALES.
