EASTERN MAORI SEAT. NATIVE AS LABOUR CANDIDATE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association!) HASTINGS, this day. At a meeting at Onahu, of Ngatikahungunu (Hawke's Baj 7 ) tribes yesterday, the following resolution was carried: "That Hone Mokena, the accredited Labour candidate for the Eastern Maori electorate, is-fully qualified to represent us in Parliament, and that we have full confidence in him, a* well as the party he stands for."
