The. game between H. F. Valentine and W. Hackett attracted a large gathering of enthusiasts, including some ladies. The best breaks were: Valentine. 44, 40. 36, 33, 33, 2«, 24, 23. 22, and 21, average 91 per cue: Hackett, 36, 24, 21, 21, and 19. E. J. Morrison plays L. Rogers this evening at 7.30, and" a good game should eventuate.
